Robert Rehr Profile & Experience

 

Robert Rehr, who has a five-star rating on Avvo.com, has been recognized for his compassion, attentiveness and honesty when approaching every client. Licensed in both New York and Connecticut, Mr. Rehr has been with Bruno, Gerbino, Soriano & Aitken, LLP since September 2018 when he was hired as an associate. He brought with him extensive experience in civil and criminal matters as well as family, tax and small claims law.

 

Throughout his career, the Long Island native has made his client the main focus, whether he was representing them in court, assisting a taxpayer or doing private mediation in an effort to resolve cases so that going to trial was not necessary. He has also drafted wills, simple trusts, powers of attorney, contracts, demand letters and other documents as needed. Early in his career he gained extensive experience in civil caseflow management.

 

Prior to joining the BG&S legal team, Mr. Rehr was a founding member of the Law Office of Robert Rehr in Stamford, CT, where he represented clients in a variety of civil, criminal and family court matters for more than seven years.

 

He also previously worked for the Internal Revenue Service as a tax examining technician, which involved account maintenance and interpreting laws and rules related to a taxpayer’s account in order to properly handle the case and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficiency and top performance.

 

Mr. Rehr graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2003 when he also received the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award, Communications Law. As a law student, Mr. Rehr was a certified legal intern for both the public defender’s office and the Quinnipiac Law School Defense Appellate Clinic. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science/history in 2000 from Gettysburg College.

 

When he is not practicing law, Mr. Rehr likes to travel with his wife, explore history and politics and hone his skills as a photographer, all the while as a diehard Mets fan.
