Robert Rehr Profile & Experience
Robert Rehr has been a senior associate with Bruno, Gerbino, Soriano & Aitken, LLP since returning to the firm in November 2024 after having previously been with the firm from 2018-2022 as an associate attorney.
Mr. Rehr is admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut, and the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York as well as being a member of the New York State and Suffolk County Bar Associations. Licensed as an attorney for over twenty years, Mr. Rehr has been recognized on Avvo.com for having a five-star rating or his compassion, attentiveness and honesty when approaching every client.
As a senior associate with BGS&A, Mr. Rehr focuses his practice on the representation of automobile insurance carriers. He has conducted hundreds of examinations and under oath on behalf of carriers to establish fraudulent claims made by insureds, claimants, and medical providers. Mr. Rehr has also successfully represented carriers in all phases of litigation with a strong knowledge of the law, especially the No-Fault regulations that has resulted in saving carriers a significant amount of money.
Prior to joining BGS&A in 2018, Mr. Rehr began his career in Connecticut as a clerk for the Stamford Superior Court where his strong knowledge of practice and procedure resulted in his promotion to being placed in charge of the management of the civil docket. He then transitioned to become a sole practitioner where he vigorously and successfully represented clients in civil, criminal, family, and appellate cases in addition to being appointed a special master for civil matters by the Court where he successfully resolved cases prior to trial. Mr. Rehr also has experience in successfully representing insurance companies in construction claims in depositions and motion practice with a New York City law firm.
Mr. Rehr graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2003 from the Quinnipiac University School of Law and was awarded the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award in Communications Law. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and history in 2000 from Gettysburg College where he was recognized with a scholarship for achievement in a pre-law program.
