Michael J. Paglino

 

Michael J. Paglino is a seasoned trial attorney and partner at McManus Ateshoglou Aiello & Apostolakos, PLLC, where he leads operations at the firm’s Garden City office. With over three decades of experience, his practice focuses on the defense of complex civil litigation matters including premises liability, municipal liability, construction accidents, and New York Labor Law claims. He is known for his deep litigation insight, particularly in motion practice and summary judgment strategy.

 

Prior to joining McManus Ateshoglou, Michael served as partner at Armienti, DeBellis & Rhoden, LLP, managing high-stakes litigation for insurance industry clients. Earlier in his career, he gained extensive trial and appellate experience at several prominent law firms, prosecuting and defending cases across personal injury, real estate, commercial, and estate litigation.

 

In addition to his litigation practice, Michael served as an adjunct assistant professor at Hofstra University’s Zarb School of Business, where he taught business law and legal writing. He has also served as General Counsel to several industry associations, including the Long Island Auto Body Repairmen’s Association and the Country Estates at Cammack Civic Association, handling complex zoning and labor-related legal matters.

 

Michael is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department.

 

He holds a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and a B.S./MPA in Finance from New York University. He remains active in several professional and civic organizations, including the Columbian Lawyers of Nassau County, and has held multiple leadership roles with Business Network International. Michael is also a frequent guest lecturer and community volunteer, with a long-standing commitment to youth mentorship and civic engagement.
