David Kowzun Profile & Experience

 

David Kowzun has been an associate in the Ramsey, NJ, office of Bruno, Gerbino, Soriano & Aitken, LLP since May 2020. His focus is on personal injury protection and auto insurance defense.

 

Licensed in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and with the Federal District Court, Kowzun has been practicing law since the late-1990s. Kowzun, a New Jersey native, has a wide range of experience including general liability defense in his most recent role prior to joining BGS&A. His previous experience also includes personal injury trial practice like automobile negligence, premises liability, product liability, public entity/tort claims actions, wrongful death, dram shop/social host liability, landlord/tenant negligence, social security disability and charitable immunity.

 

Kowzun graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law-Camden in 1997. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Political Science in 1991 from Rutgers University, Livingston College.

 

Upon graduation, he was selected to clerk for the Honorable Lorraine C. Parker in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Sussex County.

 

When he is not practicing law, Kowzun enjoys hiking, skiing and reading historical biographies. When asked what his favorite movie is, without hesitation he said, “The Matrix.”
