Daniel Schreck Profile & Experience

Daniel Schreck has been a dedicated member of the legal profession since his admission to the New Jersey Bar in 2011. With a focus on legal research and pro bono work, Mr. Schreck brings a unique set of skills and experiences to his role.

Schreck's academic background is rooted in a profound appreciation for English, having graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. degree in English in May 2007. He continued his education at Rutgers University School of Law—Newark, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in May 2011. During his time at Rutgers, he was deeply involved in legal academia and practice; he served as a clinical law student at the Special Education Law Clinic, engaging in legal research concerning the Federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and Special Education provisions of the New Jersey Administrative Code. Additionally, Mr. Schreck worked as a research assistant for Professors Gary L. Francione and George C. Thomas III, further honing his research and analytical skills.

Following his graduation, Mr. Schreck clerked for the Honorable Regina Caulfield of the Union County Superior Court, an experience that provided him with a firsthand look at the inner workings of the judiciary. His commitment to serving the community is demonstrated through his recent role as pro bono counsel for the Honorable Freda L. Wolfson of the U.S. District Court, D.N.J., Trenton. This position allowed Mr. Schreck to contribute to the legal field by supporting access to justice for those unable to afford legal representation.

Mr. Schreck's journey in the legal profession is marked by a commitment to legal research, education, and public service. His background in English has equipped him with strong communication skills, which he effectively utilizes in his legal writing and advocacy.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Schreck is engaged in the community and continues to pursue interests that complement his career in law. His academic and professional journey reflects a dedication to understanding the complexities of the law and a relentless pursuit of justice.
