Mr. Littman is the former bureau chief for the Office of the Nassau County Attorney, a role he held since 2010 that included acting as Executive Deputy County Attorney and Counsel for the Nassau County Bus Transit Committee. He was also assigned to supervise claims examiners and investigators in all aspects of property damage claims.
The veteran attorney brings more than 30 years of experience as a litigator, focusing on insurance defense, the implementation and execution of the Vehicle Forfeiture Program and the defense of personal injury, false arrest and property damage claims.
Mr. Littman also has extensive experience as a trial attorney, having argued cases in appellate courts as well as those involving homicides, motor vehicle accidents, slip/trip and falls, property damage and excess force.
His career began as an assistant district attorney for Bronx County from 1984-1991 and Queens County from 1992-1996. During this time, Mr. Littman served as a trial attorney for the Special Victims, Major Offense and Homicide Bureaus.
Mr. Littman received a Juris Doctor degree in 1983 from Antioch School of Law where he prepared and argued cases in Court and before administrative agencies as part of the Urban Law
Institute Clinical Program and also served as a teaching assistant in Property and Constitutional Law. He received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the City University of New York, Herbert H. Lehman College in 1980.
