Prior to joining BG&S, she was a document review specialist at Ernst & Young, LLP in Secaucus where she concentrated on corporate law by examining and reviewing financial and legal documents relevant to pending litigation.
Prior to starting this employment, she was also a junior attorney for The Book Law Group, LLC in Spring Valley, NY, a position she began in 2012 while finishing up her law degree. Ms. Felix was responsible for translating government documents from French and Haitian Creole to American English; preparing and filing various immigrant and nonimmigrant visa applications including work and visitor visas as well as asylum, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) filings and waivers; and acted as an interpreter for Creole-speaking clients to streamline communication between attorney and client.
Her prior experience also includes work in New York at Class Action Capital, LLC, Legal Services of the Hudson Valley and ELR Legal Search Consultants.
Ms. Felix received a Juris Doctor degree in 2015 from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the State University of New York at Albany in 2010. As an undergraduate student, she was a member of the SUNY Albany Angelic Voices of Praise Gospel Choir and the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
