Joseph G. Giordano joined Bruno Gerbino & Soriano (BG&S), LLP as an associate in May 2018, bringing with him several years of experience primarily in personal injury and no-fault proceedings as well as a strong writing and research background.
Prior to joining BG&S, Mr. Giordano was an associate for Lewin & Baglio, LLP. For three years, he led no-fault medical provider arbitrations, master arbitrations and Article 75 appeals. He also developed and managed arbitration protocols and strategy with staff members and represented clients in the New York City Civil Court and New York State Supreme Court.
From 2013-2014, he was an associate for the Law Offices of Marshall and Bellard. In addition to preparing proceedings for personal injury cases, Mr. Giordano gained experience working on contracts of sale, deeds, transfer tax documents and lease agreements as well as Petitions for Probate and Letters of Administration.
As a law student, Mr. Giordano was a pro bono legal intern for the Queens Volunteer Lawyers Project, Inc. where he helped clients with landlord/tenant and family law related issues and motions to vacate default judgments. He also worked in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, where he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Denis R. Hurley.
Mr. Giordano graduated with a Juris Doctor degree and the CALI Awards for Excellence in Federal Income Tax in 2010 from Touro College: Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Law in 2005 from Binghamton University where he served as a student association representative.
