Mr. Giannone is unique in that he is not only a licensed attorney but is also a former NYC police officer and EMT. This service experience and natural inclination to help others are reflected in the commitment he shows his clients.
Prior to joining BG&S, he was a junior associate at Lieb at Law, PC, also in New York, where he gained a variety of litigation experience in personal injury, foreclosure defense, landlord/tenant disputes and employment discrimination. In this role, he also delved into research, negotiation, court appearances, bench trials, ADR, drafting of pleadings and motions, client management, debt collection and judgment enforcement.
Mr. Giannone received a Juris Doctor degree in 2015 from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. As a law student, he was a law assistant for the Suffolk County District Attorney where he conducted investigations, interviewed police and civilian witnesses and applied his education toward motion practice and trial exercises. Also during law school, he interned for the Town of Brookhaven Council District 1 and in the Tort Litigation Bureau in the County Attorney’s Office in Hauppauge, NY.
In 2011, the New York native received a bachelor’s degree in Emergency Critical Care from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. As an undergraduate student, he served as the captain and president of the Stony Brook University Crew Team.
