Ms. Sarnicola, who was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2017, brings to the firm a variety of experience including legal research and assistance with cases involving various types of law including tax, asylum, family, trusts and estates, real estate as well as recovery cases following superstorm Sandy.
She earned a Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2016. There she applied her talent for writing. She served as managing editor of Notes & Comments for the Family Court Review, where she published the article, “The Forgotten Children of Immigration and Family Law: How the Absence of Legal Aid Affects the Children in the United States.” Ms. Sarnicola was also a finalist at the Nassau County Bar Association Moot Court Competition, and she studied abroad in Costa Rica, Cuba and Panama as she worked to protect human rights and the education of children.
As a student, Ms. Sarnicola interned at the Nassau County Legal Aid Society, the Murray Law Group, the law firm of Daniels, Norelli, Scully & Cecere P.C and both the Asylum Clinic and the Disaster Recovery Clinic at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University.
Ms. Sarnicola also received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from Quinnipiac University in 2013. As an undergraduate student, she was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society in Political Science as well as a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta National Service Sorority.
